“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:31-34

A Kingdom Seeker is described in this text. One who seeks to know God and His will. One who is not going to worry about the basic necessities of life but about the basic needs of his/her relationship with the Lord. Interestingly, most of you reading this post, I suspect, don’t worry about your basics of life (eating/drinking/wearing) as if you were lacking food or clothes. Oh, you may not have the food you want or the cloths you want, but that is different. A lack of contentment butts up against our desires for more and for better. May God give us a Kingdom Seeker’s heart and mind to be discerning and wise in our desires to know Him and be of good use for the sake of others.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it’s self . Each day has enough trouble of it’s own! Matthew 6:31-34
