“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  Matthew 19:14

One of the most loved statements of Jesus is recorded here in Matthew’s gospel as we get a peek into the window of the heart of God.  While the disciples thought it best to keep the children away from Jesus so He could speak and teach (to the adults), Jesus had some strong words against His disciples, scolding them you could say.  Jesus loves the little children, then and now.

Who are the children in your life?  Your own?  Your neighbors?  Do you even know your neighbor’s children?  How about your coworkers?  Take time to inquire about them.  Love on them.  Show compassion on them as you remember Jesus’ love and how the kingdom of heaven is for those who come to Him in childlike faith.
